Health, safety and environmental responsibility

Tshipi aspires to be the role model for new mines in South Africa. We are committed to creating an enabling work environment to prevent harm to employees, environment and surrounding communities. To achieve this, we have implemented and maintained management systems that are consistent with internationally recognised standards and our legal, governance and regulatory obligations.

Social responsibility

In partnership with the Department of Mineral Resources and the Joe Morolong District Municipality, Tshipi has developed and implemented a comprehensive Social and Labour Plan (“SLP”).
